Tignes - Best glacier skiing in Europe!

One of the largest ski areas in Europe and linked to neighbouring Val d’Isère, Tignes has earned itself “Super Resort” status. Famous for its high altitude skiing and a snow record most other resorts can only dream of, Tignes coolly and comfortably rivals the world’s best ski and board destinations for downhill and off piste activity.
The super fast ski lift system covers over 300km of immaculately maintained pistes and the ski slopes extend to the highest and finest glacier pistes of the glorious Grand Motte.

More info on Tignes

Tignes is famous for its superior high altitude skiing and impeccable snow record. Many of our chalets are in Tignes Les Brévierès, the oldest and prettiest part of Tignes which is also a great social hub. There’s a choice of cool après ski venues with bars and cafés for all ages and energies and plenty of places to drink, dine, dance or do whatever you feel.

Social Ski Hosting

For those that prefer to ski in company…

Social Ski Hosting allows skiers and boarders to join friendly ski groups suited to their ability and to get an insight into the resort’s best ski areas. It can help you avoid the lift queues and seek out the best restaurants for lunch or apres ski afterwards! It is a great way to meet other likeminded skiers and boarders and enjoy the mountain together.

We do not physically accompany guests on the mountain, but our hosts and Reps will be on hand from the moment you arrive to answer any questions you may have, and once in resort they will help you with pre-booked lift passes and fast-track you as best they can through the ski shops.

In the mornings our Winter Hosts will help you connect with other hotel clients for you to ski or board with. They will direct ski groups towards the best ski areas and snow conditions of the day, but please remember that their advice is unqualified and must be treated as such. If you would like a professional mountain guide these can be arranged for an additional supplement in resort. Our Winter Hosts will arrange lunch stops so that groups can meet up, (if they wish), and socialise together. In the evenings our Hosts will never be far from a chalet or hotel bar or on hand to arrange social drinks and chat about the day’s skiing or boarding.

Please ask for details of our Social Skiing service on arrival at reception.
